About Buttercup Bakery
We bake fresh artisan bread daily in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Each loaf takes 24 to 48 hours to craft, using ferments to create authentic artisan sourdough crust and crumb in the ancient traditions of bread making. We use organic and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. Buttercup Bakery is a locally-owned, locally-operated small business. We are committed to the enrichment of the Idaho Falls community.
Where to Buy Buttercup Bread
Our bread is for sale at Natural Grocers, which is located at 1270 East 17th Street between Holmes and Woodruff. Their hours are Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. til 9 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. til 7 p.m.
We also participate in local farmers markets. The Idaho Falls Farmers Market runs Saturdays 9 a.m. til 1 p.m. May through October, and is located in the downtown Key Bank parking lot. The Pocatello Portneuf Valley Farmers Market also runs Saturdays 9 a.m. til 1 p.m. May through October, and is located at 420 North Main Street.

All our breads are available for special order with only a 24-hour notice in quantities of one dozen or greater. Please call (208) 524-9088 to place your order.
Buttercup Bakery is available year-round for all your special event needs. We will host and cater special dinners, book clubs, Bunco nights, club meetings, bread classes, holiday parties, etc. Buttercup Bakery will also schedule several bread classes open for sign-up throughout the year.
